Artist's Description

Il Gobbo (The Hunchback)

Oil on Canvas

August 13 1942.

A dreaded Savoia Marchetti SM79 Sparvero Torpedo Bomber comes in for the kill.

Known as il Gobbo (The hunchback) it flies low and slow. The outcome hardly questioned.
