Ray Agius replied:
Thank you Sir. This was donated to a national charity auction on a small mediterranean island and achieved a wonderful price for the effort.

What a wonderful painting. Perfect soft colors, reflection, light and composition. The image has a timeless quality, it could be a boat from today or from long gone real or imagined ancient Empires, like Greece or Atlantis. Oh, if you can't call yourself an artist - then no one can...
Ray Agius replied:
Thank you Hartmut Jager. This painting was donated to a charity auction and got the highest price on the night. The boat is a 90 year boat still in use on the island of Malta. The original design is Mediterrean and is well over a thousand years old.
