The name Dghajsa comes from Egypt but although the name might be the design is not.
A light framed small boat, used by poorer fishermen in the past for costal work, is now mostly used as tenders or harbor fishing.
Some of these boats are 60 or more years old and I still remember the last ones being made 3o years ago.
In the video one might see quite a few of them interspersed among the �Luzzus�, another typically local longer range boat.
This one drawn is in the process of maintained.
