Ray, I have been using the contest thread as a vehicle to encourage artistic “blog intershare”…you ARE and have been so wonderfully teaching us all more about your work for some time…thank you SO much. I am NOT surprised to hear you work with finest substrates, pigments and properly prepare your canvases using Classic techniques…I hope more viewers read on…in the contest discussion! Your commentary is so worth the extra perusal time.

Every artist deserves to learn the better method. Books only go so far, a lending hand from those who made mistakes for decades help advance those who are dipping their toes in the water and wishing being fully immersed.

Just saw this in the BUZzzz series/contest and find it fascinatingly beautiful. Love the way that you used your colors. Very nice. f/l

Dear Ray, your entries each address the importance of the contest theme triad. If you have time, please consider entering the behind the scenes dialogue. I love the deeper dive and apparently many fellow artists are also beginning to enjoy the BUZzzz..:-)...your subtle themes and balanced approach to design and composition are SO influenced by your innate understanding of this relationship. ...I am eagerly hoping to hear...

Thank you Laurel. I do not normally interect on blogs. However, if you send me a link to the blog I will consider it. Alas it is not clear to me where I need to go.
